Gian Wild Goose Pagoda || Xian, China
Xi'an is one of my favorite cities in China. It’s history just blew me away: it’s one of the oldest cities in China, it has served as its capital under multiple dynasties and it was the end of the Silk Road that connected China to the Greek Empire. Besides the famous terracotta warriors, the millenary city walls, the Daci’en Pagoda (translated: giant wild goose pagoda) is one of the city’s landmarks. The pagoda stands on an island within the largest fountain in Asia.
